Laser Hair Removal
For people who are tired of shaving, tweezing, and waxing to remove unwanted hair, laser hair removal has become the preferred option—and a practical solution.
Laser hair removal is a popular permanent hair removal option that destroys the hair follicle to reduce hair growth.
You can get it done anywhere on the body. Our devices can cover large places fast – legs, back, underarms, bikini line, stomach, face…There is no limit to the places you can get laser hair removal.
- Lasers are precise, and can selectively target the hairs while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged.
- Each laser pulse takes a fraction of a second and can treat an area with each pulse instead of one follicle at a time like electrolysis.
- Laser settings can be adjusted to suit your specific skin tone and hair colour.
When it comes to pain level, we make every effort to make the procedure as pain-free as possible. At Art of SKIN, we have the benefit of using air cooling during the treatment, which allows us to cool the skin before, during, and after each pulse. Any discomfort will progressively become less painful as treatments continue and the hair becomes finer.
The average number of visits necessary to see permanent hair reduction is four to six—but some people respond well in two sessions, and others need a dozen. There’s also a rest period in between sessions depending on the hair growth cycles, so now is a good time to book a consult to be ready in time for this summer.
At Art of SKIN Dermatology, Laser, and Cosmetic Surgery, we use a variety of state-of-the-art laser and light energy devices for hair reduction, so you’ll be treated with the safest, most effective one for your skin colour and hair type.
Make an appointment for a consultation. During your visit, we will assess your skin type and suitability for hair removal treatment and design the best permanent hair removal plan for you.
